Goodwill Industries is the oldest nonprofit organization providing vocational services in the state of Delaware. Goodwill operated on the philosophy of "Give a hand up, not a hand out." The original intent was to put people to work – collecting, repairing and reselling clothing and household items. The purpose was, and still is, to discover the productive capabilities inherent in all people.

We will honor individuals, who with the assistance of Goodwill, have improved their lives through the power of work and are now able to provide better lives for themselves and their families. In addition to these outstanding honorees, we will present awards to individuals and businesses who are dedicated in helping Goodwill achieve its mission.
